This past weekend fellow blogger Colleen and I took a road trip down to SLU to visit friends and be at our favorite place on earth. Here are some of things we did while we were in town!

-Hang out with friends that are either living at SLU over the summer or are from Saint Louis.

-Went to the Saint Louis Farmer’s Market located in the Saint Louis neighborhood Soullard. We then cooked dinner with all of the delicious fresh food we bought!

-Spent an afternoon by the pool at SLUruba, SLU’s outdoor pool. Tons of students like to relax in the sun both during the summer and in the warmer months of the school year. The pool even has real palm trees!

-Worked out at the Simon Rec Center. Yes it is still open in the summer!

-Surprised a friend by being in town for their birthday. They had no idea we were coming!

The best part of the trip by far was being able to see everyone on campus. Whether it be people we knew very well, or only a little, it was great being able to see and talk to all of the familar faces.

So we couldn’t go an entire summer without visiting SLU. For the first time ever I am counting down the days until summer is over; just another reason why SLU is such a special place.

So get on campus this summer and Be here. Be a Billiken.
